What is Give A Booster Shot?

Give a Booster Shot is a campaign that asks employees of the Santa Clara Valley Health & Hospital System to donate to the VMC Foundation.

The VMC Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising donations and public awareness in support of for the County health and hospital system. We strongly believe that VMC should be open to all. The Foundation works to make sure that you have the resources and support you need to provide great care to our patients.

Your donation will help the VMC Foundation engage the broader community, host fundraising events, purchase needed medical equipment and so much more. By donating to the Give a Booster Shot campaign, you are helping us help you.

How do I give?

A gift in any amount is greatly appreciated. The easiest way to donate is by downloading a paycheck deduction form by clicking the "donate now" button on this website. Pick an amount you'd like donate each pay period and fax or mail the form to the VMC Foundation. It works like the Combined Giving Campaign. You can also give via credit card, cash or check.

What is a SuperBooster?

SuperBoosters are a special class of donors who have committed at least $8 per paycheck for 5 years, resulting in a $1000 donation to the VMC Foundation. SuperBoosters will have their name engraved on a special donor wall to be featured in the lobby of the new hospital wing.

I'm already a Super Booster - what more can I do to help?

A lot! First, you can invite the VMC Foundation to make a brief presentation about the Give a Booster Shot campaign at your next staff or department meeting.

Second, you can recruit 2 of your colleagues as Super Boosters ($8 per paycheck for 5 years), and receive a nifty VMC Foundation messenger bag as a token of our thanks.

Even better, you can recruit 7 other people to donate as Super Boosters ($8 per paycheck for 5 years), and be recognized as a member of the Give a Booster Shot Ambassador Circle. All Ambassador Circle members will not only have their name on the wall of the new hospital building, but will also have a unique naming opportunity elsewhere in the hospital, such as a waiting room or nursing station named for you and your family.
